CREATE MENTAL SPACE
“By training in meditation, we create an inner space and clarity that enables us to control our mind regardless of the external circumstance. Gradually we develop mental equilibrium, a balanced mind that is happy all the time.”
- Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

THE PEACE OF CONCENTRATION
In our modern life we can easily name so many things that we say we need and maybe can’t do without. But if we can realize the importance of concentration in our life, we will naturally wish to develop and improve it. This will make our meditation practice very powerful in creating mental peace and giving us the confidence to handle even the most challenging of situations.
In this set of two classes explore techniques for vastly improving our concentration skills, the key to both better meditations and a meaningful life.
Everyone Welcome. No Experience Necessary.

NEXT CLASS June 5th
with Kadampa Meditation Teachers
"In recent years our knowledge of modern technology has increased considerably, and as a result we have witnessed remarkable material progress, but there has not been a corresponding increase in human happiness. There is no less suffering in the world today, and there are no fewer problems. Indeed, it might be said that there are now more problems and greater dangers than ever before." - Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
The pressures of the modern world can sometimes feel impossible to navigate. Balancing work, family, friends, and trying to find hope and meaning in the midst of life’s demands can be challenging. If you find yourself feeling lost and powerless faced with the horrors of war, famine, sickness and the many problems that plague our world, then you may benefit from Prayers for World Peace. You are invited to join us for a short teaching, a guided meditation, and prayers for peace in the world. This is a way to direct spiritual energy toward wishing happiness for all beings, through the process of correct imagination. All things arise from the mind, so if we can create a space where we imagine world peace, then we can make it happen together.
